The Hong Kong Science Museum is dedicated to collecting and preserving artefacts of scientific and technological significance to establish a good collection of the science and technology heritage of Hong Kong. The collections will be used in research, exhibitions, publications, education programmes and future museum development. The Museum has collected nearly 240 sets of objects, covering a wide range of scientific disciplines, including engineering, astronomy, space science, physical sciences, life sciences, natural history and earth sciences.
