"Science in the Public Service" 2026

"Science in the Public Service" (SIPS) is a joint campaign organised by government bureaux/departments and other organisations to promote their scientific work and how technological applications are being applied to the provision of public services. The theme of this year is "20 Years of 'Science in the Public Service': Improving Livelihood through Science and Innovation". A series of programmes including fair, forums, lectures, science exploration activities, workshops, site visits will be held from this July to December. Members of the public are welcome to join the activities and learn how science can improve our living standard. *Participants will receive a stamp after attending any one of the lectures, forums or science exploration activities of "Science in the Public Service". Upon collection of Five stamps, participants can redeem a souvenir. Souvenirs are available on a first come, first served basis while stocks lasts.
