Colours are found everywhere in nature, from the brightest shiny colours to camouflage colours that blend in with the environment. Have you ever thought about how colours are formed in nature? This workshop will introduce two colour-producing mechanisms (pigmentary and structural colours) and show you how organisms make use of colours in their lives.

Beyond the Naked Eye: Microorganisms
From puddles to the depths of the vast ocean, microorganisms are everywhere. Their family is enormous, with a wide variety of species, exhibiting diverse forms and survival strategies. You will also have the chance to create a personalised microorganism drawing, capturing the wonders of these tiny life forms!

Getting to Know the Bees and Wasps

In fact, the groups of bees and wasps are huge and they have diverse living habits. Surprisingly, the majority of these species live alone. In this workshop, we will explore fun facts about bees and wasps, and design a comfortable house for solitary bees.

Journey of Seeds
