Life has been evolving for billions of years since its emergence on our planet. While most of us are familiar with dinosaurs, did you know that prehistoric "dragonflies" with a wingspan of almost 70 centimetres once ruled the sky?
This exhibition takes you on an adventure to admire over 100 sets of precious fossil specimens, including 3-billion-year-old stromatolites, the most complete Deinonychus fossil in the world, a woolly mammoth of over 3 metres tall and fossilised trees. In addition to the stunning fossils, you can have a close encounter with our lifelike animatronic dinosaurs and explore our interesting interactive exhibits. The gallery will enable you to learn about the formation and discovery of fossils, explore prehistoric biodiversity, the evolution of life and mass extinctions, and witness the remarkable resurgence of life.
