The gold jewelry industry is one of the key components of Hong Kong's industry. Through the Experiment, participants will design and craft their own unique gold-plated creative accessories using simple tools, copper wire and electroplating. Participants will understand the properties of gold, the principles and applications of electroplating, and the techniques of electroforming.
This activity is a one of the extension and education activities of the special exhibition "Innovative Pathway: Hong Kong's New Era of Industry".

Jointly organised by the Hong Kong Science Museum and the Chow Sang Sang Precious Metal Laboratory
If the number of applications exceeds the quota, places will be allocated by computer ballot. Successful applicants will receive a confirmation email with programme details. Each applicant shall submit one application form only during each activity application period and applicants who submit more than one application form shall be disqualified from participation.
