(Concluded) Living Green: Electricity-free Cooling Technology

Cooling can be achieved without the use of electricity? i2Cool is a company dedicated to the research and development of such electricity-free cooling technology and energy-saving innovative materials. Two of the company's co-founders—Ir Professor Edwin Chi-Yan TSO, Associate Dean (Internationalisation and Outreach) of the School of Energy and Environment at the City University of Hong Kong, and Professor Martin Yi-Hao ZHU, CEO of i2Cool and Adjunct Professor in the Management Department of Business College at the City University of Hong Kong—will introduce the scientific achievements and discuss the applications and effectiveness of this decarbonisation technology in fields such as construction, logistics and other industries. They will also explain the science behind electricity-free cooling, aiming to raise public awareness of green technology and climate change.

This lecture is a one of the extension and education activities of the special exhibition "Innovative Pathway: Hong Kong's New Era of Industry".
