ICH Lab Class: Journey into Golden Jewellery
Jewellery Making Technique is one of the items in the Intangible Cultural Heritage inventory of Hong Kong. In the Lab Class, participants will design and craft their own unique gold-plated creative accessories using simple tools, copper wire and electroplating. Participants will understand the properties of gold, the principles and applications of electroplating, and the techniques of electroforming.

Announcement of Results:

Results will be announced on or before 16.6.2026 (Tuesday). Successful applicants will receive a confirmation email. Please present the confirmation email at the registration counter on the event day.



Jointly organised by the Hong Kong Science Museum and the Chow Sang Sang Precious Metal Laboratory.

Applications submitted before the registration start time will not be accepted. Each applicant may submit only one application during the application period, with a maximum of two attendees per application. Any applicant submitting more than one application will be disqualified.

The personal data provided in this application will be used solely for the applied activity, and all collected data will be destroyed after completion of the activity.

During the event, there may be staff on-site taking photographs and videos for educational or promotional purposes. If you do not agree to be photographed or filmed, please inform the museum staff before the event.

Inclement Weather Arrangement

Programme arrangements, quota and content are subject to changes without prior notice. In case of disputes, the decision of the Hong Kong Science Museum is final.
