SCIENCE LECTURE
[Concluded]An Overview of Ocean Plastic Wastes
Hong Kong has a beautiful coastline that we can enjoy the natural scenery and ecology along the coast during holidays. However, with the increasing number of visitors, we often see wastes such as plastic bottles, food packaging bags, and Styrofoam appearing in the ocean. These plastic wastes not only affect the landscape, but also have an impact on the ecological environment.
This lecture will introduce the sources and types of marine plastic wastes in Hong Kong, the related interesting information and the threat to the environment.
