The Museum not only cares for the students but also concerns about the career development of teachers. Various kinds of exhibition preview sessions, seminars, enrichment workshops have been and will be held so as to enrich teachers in their knowledge of professionalism and teaching aids.
Journey Through Landforms Workshop
This workshop will engage teachers through a variety of activities to explore earth science, such as the Earth's structure, plate tectonics, and the connections between these phenomena and the formation of different landforms. Participants will "travel" across the landscapes of Chinese Mainland, to appreciate its breathtaking natural features. Participants will also join guided tours of the Earth Science Gallery, which assist them in their preparation and enrich the learning experience before and after school visits.

Workshop on Inquiry-Based Science Education for Primary Schools (Species and Our Nature)
Co-organised with Ho Koon Nature Education Cum Astronomical Centre (Sponsored by Sik Sik Yuen)
The workshop will explore different themes such as "Camouflage" and "Mechanical Creatures" to exchange teaching insights and expertise in teaching aid development. It will demonstrate how to utilise 3D printing and rapid prototyping technologies to transform creative ideas into practical teaching tools to inspire students' potential in science. Teachers will also have the opportunity to participate in guided tours of the Biodiversity Gallery and special exhibition to enhance their ability to effectively foster students' interest in nature and science. Preference will be given to teachers who teach science and general studies in primary schools.
