Sports Science Day Camp
Although some children are very familiar with volleyball, running, cycling and other sports, do they understand the science behind those sports? Join us at the Hong Kong Science Museum for the Sports Science Day Camp and explore the scientific theories behind various sports! Through fun-filled activities and interactive experiments, such as how rotation, air flow, and shape affect the trajectory of balls flight, children can experience how scientific principles enhance sports performance and discover the science behind!
#Lunchtime is from 12:45pm to 2:00pm. Please note that meals are NOT provided in the day camp. Participants may go out for lunch with their parents or bring their own food.
*If the number of applications exceeds the quota, places will be allocated by computer ballot. Each applicant shall submit one application form only during each activity application period. An applicant who submit more than one application form shall be disqualified from participation.
Successful applicants will receive a confirmation email with payment instruction and programme details. Please settle the programme fee and submit a valid copy of a document for verifying the age of the applicant and/ or their eligibility for the concessionary rate within the indicated period.
This programme is one of the extension activities of the "Bank of China (Hong Kong) Presents: National Development and Achievements Series – Approaching Perfection: The Intersection of Sports and Science" Special Exhibition.
Notes to Applicants
1. The personal data provided in this application form will be used solely for the applied activity, and all collected data will be destroyed after completion of the activity.
2. You have the right to request access to and correct the submitted personal data in this form in accordance to Sections 18 and 22 and Principle 6 of Schedule 1 of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. To make such request, please contact the museum at 2732 3223 or mail to the Hong Kong Science Museum, 2 Science Museum Road, Tsim Sha Tsui East, Kowloon, Hong Kong.

4. Each applicant shall submit one application form only during each activity application period and applicants who submit more than one application form, or the applicant do not fulfill the age requirment shall be disqualified from participation.
5. If the number of applications exceeds the quota, places will be allocated by computer ballot. If there are vacancies after the deadline, applications will continue to be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
6. Successful applicants will receive a confirmation email with payment instruction and programme details. Please settle the programme fee and submit a valid copy of a document for verifying the age of the applicant and/ or their eligibility for the concessionary rate within the requested period.
7. Applicants who fail to meet the entry requirements will not be allowed to take part in the programme and no refund of the fees paid will be made.
8. Payments are not refundable, except in the event of the programme cancellation. Applicants shall not transfer their quota nor transfer their payments towards other applied activities.
9. Inclement Weather Arrangement
10. Programme arrangements, quota and content are subject to changes without prior notice. In case of disputes, the decision of the Hong Kong Science Museum is final.
