Special Programmes
Botanical Art Workshop

Join us for a botanical art workshop where science meets art! You will explore the campus of The Chinese University of Hong Kong to collect plant specimens and gain hands-on experience in the practice of botanical drawing.

In this workshop, you will learn to identify the morphological features of various plant species and master the fundamental procedures of botanical illustration under expert guidance. By creating your own botanical art, you will gain a fresh appreciation for the natural world.

Date: 13.12.2025 (Saturday)

Time: 10:00am - 5:00pm

Venue: Shiu-Ying Hu Herbarium, School of Life Sciences, The Chinese University of Hong Kong

This programme is part of "The 15th Anniversary Events of CUHK School of Life Sciences".

Jointly organised by the Hong Kong Science Museum and Shiu-Ying Hu Herbarium, School of Life Sciences, The Chinese University of Hong Kong



Quota is limited, and on a first-come, first-served basis.


Each applicant shall submit one application form only during each activity application period and applicants who submit more than one application form are subject to disqualification.

Successful applicants will receive a confirmation email. Please present the confirmation email on the event day.

The personal data provided in this application form will be used solely for the applied activity, and all collected data will be destroyed after completion of the activity.

During the event, there may be staff on-site taking photographs and videos for educational or promotional purposes. If you do not agree to be photographed or filmed, please inform the herbarium staff before the event.

Programme arrangements, quota and content are subject to changes without prior notice. In case of disputes, the decision of the Shiu-Ying Hu Herbarium, School of Life Sciences, The Chinese University of Hong Kong is final.
