In celebration of the 95 Years of Public Service Broadcasting in Hong Kong, RTHK will organise a 2-day carnival, echoing the "Happy Hong Kong '' campaign. The carnival combines elements of lifestyle & art, intangible cultural heritage, and activities to enhance physical health and mental wellness. The carnival has various themed stalls, including paper-cutting art workshops, making and tasting of Hong Kong styled snacks (egg tart, milk tea & egg waffle), health checks, e-sports playrooms, and a variety of classic stall games, allowing the public to enjoy high-quality cultural and recreational activities in a relaxed and happy manner.
The carnival also has a stage area, with performances including pop song performances, children Cantonese opera, magic, modern creative Naamyam (南音) performances, breakdancing, and puppet show performances. Please stay tuned for the detailed program schedule.
A large-scale art installation using "paper-cutting" as medium will be placed at the entrance of the venue. Visitors can appreciate the exquisite paper-cutting artisanship and take photos to record this enjoyable moment.
