Tianqi rectangular table with kuilong pattern

The corner of this table was broken where conservators could learn the layer structure and fabrication technique of the table. The table starts with a wooden base, then following by a bottom “ash” layer, coarse linen cloth, an “ash” layer, fine linen cloth, another “ash” layer, old lacquer layer, surface “ash” layer, and the latest lacquer layer, with nine layers in total.
