Masters in the Forbidden City
"Masters in the Forbidden City" tells the story of the ancient Imperial Palace from a new perspective, and introduces the conservation of calligraphy and paintings, bronzes, clocks, wood, ceramics, lacquerware, inlaid works and textiles. This film documents the daily work of the conservators in a down-to-earth manner, and states that conservation work is to construct a dialogue between the people from ancient and modern times.
