Electricity and Magnetism Gallery

E&M Gallery
E&M Gallery

Revealing the many faces of electricity and magnetism, the elegantly designed interactive exhibits in the Gallery introduce facts and explain the principles behind the subjects in a simple, light-hearted way. The exhibit "Making a magnet rotate by using electric current" explains in depth in everyday language how a motor works. The exhibit "Electricity travels through my body" demonstrates in a vivid and interesting way how the human body functions as a conductor. Through the plasma globe in the "Wonderful plasma" exhibit, you can even observe lightning closely and interact with the dancing light streams generated by plasma discharge.
