"SciPOP" Lecture Series - Understanding Our Habitable Earth
The Earth is the only recognised habitable planet for lives. Its formation, evolution and mechanism are mysterious but at the same time crucial for the presence of suitable amount of oxygen, water and nutrients needed for enormous kinds of lives. Evolution of the Earth from its birth results in a comfortable habitat for organisms. The mechanism and interaction between different systems such as the hydrosphere (water cycle) and geosphere (rock cycle) are closely related for shaping our unique habitable Earth. This public talk will explore how the Earth works to be a live Blue Planet.
