How well do you know about your body? How does food "travel" through the digestive system? Why does the digestive organ not digest "itself"? How does the nervous system work? What are sensory cells? How does the reflex action work? How do bones and muscles work together to help us move freely? Let us explore our amazing body!

Electricity and magnetism bring a lot of convenience to us. How well do you know about them? What is static electricity? How does it form? How does battery produce electricity? How could we imply the characteristics of electricity and magnetism to make electric motor? In this day camp, participants could learn to make funny gadgets with simple circuit and have a deeper understanding in electricity and magnetism.

Lunchtime: 1:00pm - 2:00pm
Lunch options for participants:
1. bring their own lunches and dine in the classroom of the Hong Kong Science Museum
2. order lunch boxes and dine in the classroom of the Hong Kong Science Museum
3. dining out with parents or guardians

Venue: Laboratory, Hong Kong Science Museum
Language: Cantonese
Fee: $168 (This is the concessionary fee for students. Other discounts are not applicable.)
Age: 10-12 (Age is calculated as the date of the programme.)
Capacity: 40 per session (Allocated by drawing lots)
Deadline for application: 17-06-2019 (Monday)
Date of drawing lots: 19-06-2019 (Wednesday) 10am at Classroom, G/F, Hong Kong Science Museum
Announcement of result: 21-06-2019 (Friday) Successful applicants will receive a confirmation letter with the instruction of payment.

Application forms can be obtained from the information counter or the website of Hong Kong Science Museum.

If applications are made by post, please ensure that the correct address is clearly printed or written on the envelope and sufficient postage is affixed before posting so as to avoid unsuccessful delivery of application. Any underpaid mail items will be returned or disposed of by the Hongkong Post.
