During the weekends of Science Alive, science communicators from the Bristol ChemLabS of School of Chemistry, University of Bristol and the outreach team of Department of Chemistry, University of Bath will deliver various drop-in activities for children to learn science, including looking at the crystalline structure of everyday things such as chocolate and ice cream and understand why crystals are important, liquid nitrogen demonstrations, dry demonstrations and polymorph shaping opportunities.

Previous FameLab Hong Kong finalists will conduct simple demonstrations to explain scientific concepts to the public. Besides, bubble artists, walkabout magic shows and face painters will be there to enhance children’s interest in learning science.
