Apart from organizing exciting exhibitions, Hong Kong Science Museum offers Guided Tour Service to visitors inside the Exhibition Hall. Guided Tour Service is one of the most important extension activities offered by the Science Museum and is conducted by our experienced docents. The service includes conducting tour visits, explaining the science principles behind, and assisting visitors to operate exhibits. Guided Tour Service brings lots of fun to visitors along with their visits, as well as making science a simple thing to learn.
Guided Tour Service is presented in different ways in order to serve the personal needs of different visitors.
Group Guided Tour
With the aim to facilitate the visit of group visitors, the Science Museum has specially organized the group guided tour for all community groups.
Group guided tour is tailormade for visitors of different ages with different interest. The tour is about one and a half hour, which covers interesting and simple exhibits. We hope visitors will enjoy the tour in a comprehensive and delightful way.

1. Elderly Guided Tour

With the aim to assist elderly people to learn and explore exhibits in a pleasant and comfortable manner, the Science Museum has organised the elderly guided tour for elderly group. The tour is about one and a half hour and will cover exhibits of their interest.
2. Docent Assisting Services for the Handicapped
Disabled people can explore themselves and their surroundings through learning science so as to improve their communication as well as social abilities. Science Museum has got a number of exhibits suitable for the operation and understanding of the disabled. Owing to the above reason, the Museum has also specially organised guided tour for the group of disabled. The tour is about one and a half hour.
3. School Guided Tour

Visiting the Science Museum has been a meaningful educational event for school groups. Students can enrich their science knowledge not only through operating interactive, funny and educational exhibits, but also by the participation in the guided tours and other types of school visit activities. School guided tour services are specially arranged to cope with different levels of students coming from kindergarten, primary and secondary schools. We are aiming at arousing the interest of students towards science and impressing them the ways of science application in the real world.
